It looks like Elon Musk is trying to take over the world, once again. We recently learned that SpaceX launched another 58 Starlink Satellites. This brings the total number of satellites up to 538.
If you didn’t know what Starlink is, here’s a quick summary. It’s basically a internet provider, which will be available across the globe. Right now, they are targeting service in the Northern USA area and Canada by the end of 2020, with global coverage coming sometime in 2021.
Of course, Starlink service will have high-speed technology. Upon doing some research, we found that Internet speeds can go up to 610 Mbps. Each satellite sits at about 342 miles above Earth’s surface, which basically means the signal has to travel 22,000 miles to reach each satellite.
