A few days ago, we discovered Microsoft was listening to your Xbox One voice commands. What’s even more scary is the fact that Apple has also been caught.
Apparently, the company was asking employees to listen to Siri conversations. An employee who worked on the project said they would listen to short recordings, which were mostly commands. However, some of them did contain person data.
The practice has been halted for now, but that didn’t stop Apple from being slapped with a class action lawsuit. The lawsuit claims the company was recording users without consent, which violates California privacy laws.
