It looks like YouTube is taking more steps to protect its users. Today, we learned the company is adding new policies to protect against discrimination.
Specifically, the platform will no longer allow users to post “malicious insults” that target someone’s race, gender, or sexual orientation. While some people might not like this, it’s a great step in keeping our children safe online. Just imagine your child coming to you, showing you a nasty comment they received online.
This is not the only policy change the company did – They will now suspend members of the partner program who “repeatedly violate the harassment policy”.
